The Hartnoll Hotel owner Claire Carter has painstakingly restored and refurbished this beautiful country house hotel, transforming it into a luxury, boutique style hotel offering both elegance and comfort. Claire’s attention to detail has been key to the successful transformation from the stunning décor with sumptuous fabrics to a wonderful open log fire.

Claire has always dreamed of  owning and running her own hotel and with her back ground as a successful property developer when the Hartnoll came onto the market Claire knew she just had to have it!

It has taken Claire just over 2 years to complete the renovation and refurbishment which is no longer a project but has become a way of life. Every detail has been choosen by Claire including the special things that guests never get to know.

Claire can regularly been seen at auctions and flea markets where she tries to seek out the most orginal eclectic items for the hotel, from pictures, candle sticks to ornamental doors, Claire has always got the Hartnoll at the fore front of her mind and has great plans for it's future.
