Hartnoll Hotel Coronavirus (COVID-19) updated statement 9th June 2020
We want you to be reassured about the steps we are taking to ensure staff and guest safety whilst still offering our usual great service during your break. These are just some of the steps we will be taking when the hotel re-opens for business:
Coronavirus symptoms - We will monitor the health of our staff and our guests. Any staff member with symptoms or someone in their household who has symptoms will self-isolate in line with PHE guidelines. All our booking channels and areas in the hotel will follow the same actions, with the hotel reserving the right to ask a guest to leave if a guest is showing signs and symptoms of COVID-19 for the security and protection of its guests and team members.
Social Distancing – 2 metres distance will be maintained between our front of house teams, reception, restaurant, bar and public areas. Signs will be in place to help inform you of distancing measures.
Enhanced Cleaning – all public areas and washrooms will be cleaned more regularly. All furniture in our Restaurants, Lounges and Meeting Rooms will be disinfected twice a day
ANTIBAC hand gel will be available for all guests to pick up from reception, and is included in the toiletry’s amenities pack, as well as within public washrooms.
Disinfection Stations - Stations are provided at the main entrance for guests and key high traffic areas for members of staff.
Staff Protective Equipment – Staff are issued with enhanced protective equipment where necessary. For instance: gloves are already worn by kitchen and waiting staff when handling guest’s food.
Reception – Room fobs are disinfected prior to and after guest use. The reception desk will have a fob collect tray and fob drop box for guests to use
Guests will be asked to USE CARD PAYMENTS ONLY- card machines will be wiped down with a disinfectant wipe after each guest use.
Check in and check out can be done remotely when required, please advise us in advance if you would prefer this
Bedrooms - have enhanced cleaning of high touch point areas, including handles, switches, remote controls, and high contact furniture. Cleaning is already conducted to a high standard within the rooms.
BEDROOM ENTRY RESTRICTED. No access will be made to the bedroom during a guest stay. Staff will only enter the bedroom on the guest’s request, to re service the bedroom or fix a reported maintenance issue. If a member of staff is requested to enter a bedroom whilst the room is occupied the team member will be wearing PPE and the guest will be asked to leave the room so social distancing can be maintained
Restaurant, Bar and Lounge areas - will also follow the social distancing guidelines, our tables have been moved to ensure adequate distance between guests and waiting staff. Please help protect our staff and ensure social distancing is always practiced. The bar and restaurant will operate table service only, with all meals and drinks being served to the tables.
